Rusticgram is a memory digitization service that allows users to schedule the pickup of physical photo prints, which we scan, digitize, and host for digital access via our mobile app and web platform.
Rusticgram operates a documented chain-of-custody workflow for physical photo handling. Each order is logged, tagged, and tracked through secure internal systems from pickup to return.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT 

We collect only what we need—and we protect what we collect. Here’s what we deal with:

ACCOUNT & CONTACT DATA

• Name, email, phone number.

ORDER & PHOTO DATA

• Scanned photo files and associated metadata (upload timestamps, order ID, etc.).
• Order history and service usage details.
• Physical photo assets are logged against a unique order ID and handled under controlled custody protocols until safely returned to the customer.

DEVICE & TECHNICAL DATA

• Device type, OS, browser version.
• IP address and app usage logs.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATION DATA

• Preferences for notifications, promotions.
• Customer interactions and survey responses.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• To fulfill and manage your orders.
• To deliver your digitized photo albums.
• To communicate operational updates.
• To improve the user experience and our service workflows.
• To maintain internal analytics and performance benchmarks.
• To inform product development (e.g., AI-driven features).
• We process digitized images solely to provide scanning, hosting, quality assurance, and customer delivery services.
• We do not use customer images for public datasets, third-party AI training, advertising, resale, or commercial licensing without explicit, separate consent.
• We do not analyze, profile, or derive behavioral insights from the visual content of customer images for advertising or commercial targeting purposes.

DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

• All digitized photos are encrypted and stored on a secure cloud infrastructure.
• Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
• We maintain data backups for redundancy.
• All transmissions (uploads/downloads) are encrypted using SSL/TLS.
• Access to customer images is strictly role-based.
• Scanning partners are isolated to assigned orders only and cannot access unrelated customer data.
• No shared credentials are permitted within the partner workflow.
• Partner devices are restricted to order-level visibility and cannot access platform-wide data.

DATA RETENTION

• Photo data is retained for the lifetime of your account unless you request deletion.
• Account data is retained for up to 30 days after profile deletion (to support potential restoration, unless explicitly opted out).
• Upon deletion request, images are permanently removed from active storage. Backup copies are purged under scheduled deletion cycles.

DELETION POLICY

• Profile Deletion: You may delete your Rusticgram profile at any time. This removes access to your account and stops all future communication.
• Data Deletion: Permanent deletion of digitized photo data may incur a reasonable processing fee reflecting archival and storage costs at the time of request. Once deleted, this action is irreversible.

THIRD-PARTY PARTNERS 
We only share data with third parties under strict necessity:

• Logistics partners for pickup and delivery.
• Cloud infrastructure vendors for secure hosting.
• Customer support platforms for operational communication.
• We do not sell your data. We don’t rent, trade, or barter your memories.
• All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and implement appropriate security safeguards.
